Payment for your class is made securely through Paypal. Without registration and pre-payment, you are not guaranteed a place in the class.
Please note: the Workshop Shopping Cart is completely separate from the Store Shopping Cart. Workshops must be paid for separately.
If you are not able to attend a class due to an emergency, please contact us at once. We will attempt to make alternative plans. If a class minimum has not been reached, we reserve the right to cancel a workshop and refund any payments.

Herb Tea Tasting Workshop - Sunday April 13, 2014 - 2pm
Sample taste many dried herbs brewed into teas. Learn about their beneficial qualities then create your own personalized blend to take home.
Herb Gardening for Beginners Workshop - Sunday April 27, 2014 - 2pm
Learn about growing herbs, their culinary uses and receive answers to questions like "Where do I start?" Workshop attendees receive a coupon for 5 herb plants to use when you are ready to plant. You may use the coupon the day of the class or save it for a future day!
Making a Hypertufa Planter Workshop - Sunday May 4, 2014 - 2pm
Create a faux stone garden planter from hypertufa - an artifcial stone material that is made from Portland cement mixed with other materials. Once the mixture hardens, it looks like rough old stone, but is much lighter than solid cement and withstands harsh weather conditions. Over time, moss and lichens will grow on your creation, giving it an aged, organic look. Tracy Burnett has crafted many hypertufa creations and will guide you through the process of creating your own handcrafted planter. DCF provides herbs or a hosta to take home and plant in your pot. NOTE: You MUST bring a pair of sturdy Dishwashing gloves and wear old clothing.

Create a gorgeous basket arrangement using fresh greens, cones and berries. This will look beautiful outdoors by the front door or indoors on a table, stairway or hearth. Bring a pair of clippers.

"Your Container" Holiday Centerpiece Workshop - Saturday December 13 , 2014 - 2pm
Do you have your Grandmother's container or a vase you saved for something special but never got around to using? This is the time! Bring it to DCF and create a lovely holiday centerpiece. We will provide 1 piece of Oasis foam, 1 candle holder and 1 taper candle as well as beautiful evergreens. You create the masterpiece and enjoy the beauty of that cherished container throughout the holiday! Please note: If your container requires additional supplies, we will charge accordingly.
Holiday Centerpiece Workshop - Sunday December 14 , 2014 - 2pm
Create your own holiday centerpiece. We provide a wide assortment of fresh greens, citrus fruit, cones, holly and pods. This is your chance to let your imagination run free! Bring a pair of clippers.

Coconut Oil and its use in Making Cold Sore Lip Balm - Sunday, June 22, 2014 -2 PM Registration deadline is June 12, 9 PM
Learn about the benefits of this oil and learn to make a lip balm which uses coconut oil. You will receive a 15 ounce jar of Unrefined Extra Virgin Coconut Oil of your own and take a sample of the lip balm with you.
