Please note that any of the workshops that we offer may also be scheduled for a private party or group at a different time. A minimum of 5 participants is required with advance payment.
Due to the “Outdoor” nature of our business we keep a close eye on the weather. If the weather conditions include snow, ice, sleet, hurricane, thunderstorm or excess heat with over
100 degree heat indexes, we may choose to limit our normal hours. Please call ahead if we are experiencing extreme weather. Everyone’s safety is our main concern.

**Sunday, April 9– 24 – Lancaster County’s Best Kept Secret Tour
We are thrilled to be included in the Tour. 35 off-the-beaten path businesses have created a shopping and food adventure just for you. Travel place to place enjoying all the
free special events (workshops, refreshments, gifts, drawings, etc.) the stores have planned for you. Visit the businesses at your leisure-do what you can in a day or take 16 days-
it’s up to you. It’s such a fun way to explore the county! Tour bags $6.00 each
($1 per bag donated to Clare House – serving homeless women and children).

Select your plants for this growing season. Choose from over 300 varieties of potted herb. Check out our extended collection of Hosta and Ferns.
Enjoy herbal refreshments. Browse in our shops, sit by the garden.
**Sunday, May 23- Make your own Herbal Wreath – 2 PM
Using a dried wreath base that we make for you in advance, create your very own wreath choosing from an assortment of dried herbs and flowers.
Add these to the base to create a wreath that is perfect for that special location in your home. Cost: $33.00
**Sunday, June 13- The 2010 Green Thumb Garden Tour
We are pleased to be included on the tour. It will be held from 1 to 5, rain or shine. Tickets will be sold in advance at the Adamstown Library or from any member of the
Friends of the Library Board at $8.00. Tickets will be $10.00 on the day of the Tour at the Library. All proceeds will be donated directly to the Adamstown Library.
Tickets go on sale May 1, 2010. Refreshments will be served in the library parking lot consisting of hot dogs, snacks, and beverages. We will open at our regular Sunday
time of 12 noon.
Closed July 4th - Happy Independence day!
** July 18 - Herbal Vinegar Workshop , 2 PM
Create 3 beautiful and delicious herbal vinegars with fresh herbs from our garden. Complete them with bees wax seals. These make great gifts! Cost: $15.00
**August 21- Making Herbal Tinctures and Salve, 2 PM
Learn how to make a healthful tincture using Echinacea and create an herbal salve for your herbal First Aid kit. Hand outs so you can make your own at home. Cost: $14.00.
** Sept. 18, Autumn Wreath Workshop, 2 PM
Create an Autumn wreath using dried grasses, corn stalk leaves and herbs for a striking harvest display. Cost: $25.00
Nov. 7, Pumpkin Path House Tour 1 to 5 PM
We will once again be decorating a home being featured on the tour. This is our 12th year!!! Tickets will be available at and proceeds benefit the Adamstown Library.
**Christmas Open House Weekend , Nov. 27 and 28
Join us to help prepare for the Holiday season ahead. Choose from fresh evergreen wreaths, swags and centerpieces made “at the Farm” for your home or send one to a friend.
We ship live Wreaths!! Find that perfect gift for someone special. Enjoy herbal refreshments. "Live" Holiday Music each afternoon.
** Dec 12 Evergreen Hearth basket workshop 2PM
Create a gorgeous basket arrangement using fresh greens, cones, and berries. This is beautiful outdoors by the front door or indoors on a table, stairway or hearth.
Bring a pair of clippers. Cost: $30.00
**Dec 19 Evergreen Centerpiece Workshop, 2 PM
Create your own holiday centerpiece. We provide a wide assortment of fresh greens, cones, holly, and pods. Add a candle if you like. This is your chance to let your
imagination run free. Bring a pair of clippers. Cost: $25.00
